Situated in Beaconsfield New Town, with many restaurants, shops and bars, there is so much to see and do within walking distance.

Local Supermarkets

There is a Waitrose within walking distance from the apartments, as well as a Marks & Spencer Food Hall a bit further along Station Road. Should you require a larger supermarket, there is a Sainsbury’s in Maxwell Road, just off station Road – turn left at W.H. Smith.

Local Pubs & Restaurants

Local Restaurants and Bars include: Beacon Bistro, The Beech House, China Diner, The Crazy Bear and Saracens Head, to name just a few.

Best Pub to Visit: A walk (approx 2 miles) to The historic Royal Standard of England Pub, the oldest Freehouse in England, is a must for all visitors. Real Ale fans will be in heaven here! Visit: www.rsoe.co.uk

Directions, leave WRS and turn right and right again up the Penn Road. Just before The Red Lion pub turn left, past Knotty Green Cricket Club. Keep walking along this road and you will eventually come to The Royal Standard on your right hand side. (Note, there is another Royal Standard Pub in Wooburn – and although it’s lovely, don’t get them confused!)

Shopping

As well as lovely local shops and boutiques in Beaconsfield, London and surrounding towns and villages have some wonderful places to shop too, including Gerrards Cross or the Eden Centre, High Wycombe (www.edenshopping.co.uk), both accessible by train.

Amersham Old Town and New Town, as well as Marlow and Windsor are also good for shopping, with the latter two having the added benefit of being on the River Thames.

Bicester Village is a popular spot with tourists and is about a 45 minute drive, or is accessible by train - Visit: bicestervillage.com

Our location is the perfect spot from which to travel into London, sightsee in the stunning Chilterns landscape, visit beautiful nearby towns, e.g. Amersham, Marlow, Henley, Oxford or Windsor, all within an hours drivezz, or venture further afield.

Motorways

Beaconsfield is ideally situated for exploring London and the South East but it also has superb links to key motorway systems, as it is located at Junction 2 of the M40. From the M40 you can travel directly North, or access the M25 motorway and the network beyond: M4/West, M3/South West, M23/South, M1/M11/North and M20/East.

Trains

Warwick Road Studios are only a couple of minutes walk from Beaconsfield train station, which is on The Chiltern Line, this service will not only take you to London Marylebone, stopping at Wembley Stadium/Arena, but also to north to Oxford, Bicester, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon Birmingham and more.
